12. Shannon Cole
Shannon Cole

Versatile and skilful, Cole will be playing in his third season for Sydney FC this year. Two-footed and willing to get forward, Cole played a vital part in the Sky Blues’ double-winning campaign in 2009/10. After establishing a firm reputation as a dead-ball specialist, Cole offers the Champions something extra in attack around the edge of the box. Following his meteoric rise in 2008, Cole is now a full international after receiving two caps for the Qantas Socceroos during Australia’s successful 2011 Asian Cup qualifying campaign. A true crowd favourite, Cole’s preferred position is on the right-side of defence, however he is just as well suited wide on the left.
